That all sounds really complicated now, was about to re post on facebook as a solution to protect against those signals!   do you know for a fact that it is dangerous to cover it with foil - what would happen?

If you get free energy its a good thing!    For years people have been switching their meters off with a credit card and then switching it back on just before the guy calls to read it, I knew people who did it, was never sure of how you put the card in myself.

as far as i can make of this video , by covering the meter, with foil it stops sending out signals, to the power company, that is how they know how much electric you have used,  as she says it started working again when the foil was removed,     i do not have a smart meter, and only posted this for information purposes only to show what these meters give out. i would not have one on my propery as they are bad for our health if they give out these strong electrical currents.     and i would not recommend anyone covering them with tin foil as electric can travel through this foil and harm someone.   it is there to show the dangers of these meters only. and not to get free electric as that would be fraud.    not recommended...
